Funds Partner Steven Klar was featured in a Private Equity International Q&A titled, “On the minds of the Future 40 Lawyers,” which was included as part of its Legal Special Report 2021. The article featured commentary from three attorneys selected as part of Private Equity International’s “Future 40” list discussing the potential lasting impact the COVID-19 pandemic could have on the industry and legal issues that GPs and LPs should have on their radar in 2021, among other topics. When discussing trends shaping the private equity industry over the next five years, Steven noted, “As has been the case for the last several years, I think we’re going to see a continued consolidation of capital being invested with larger, well-established sponsors. In addition, obtaining longer terms and permanent capital is a focus for sponsors and various new strategies and structures are likely to emerge in that area.”
