Simpson Thacher’s Insurance Practice again received the National Practice Group of the Year award at Euromoney’s Benchmark Litigation 2021 Awards virtual ceremony. This is the eighth time the Firm has received the Insurance Firm of the Year award. Mary Beth Forshaw, Head of Simpson Thacher’s Insurance and Reinsurance Practice, was also recognized as Insurance Litigator of the Year, which she also won in 2016.
In addition, the Firm was honored with an Impact Case Award. Simpson Thacher was also shortlisted for both the New York Firm of the Year and Securities Firm of the Year awards, and Paul Curnin, Global Co-Chair of Simpson Thacher’s Litigation Department, was shortlisted as Securities Litigator of the Year.
The Benchmark Litigation Awards honor those firms and attorneys that have emerged as leaders in their particular areas of law over the past 12 months.
