Litigation Partners Jon Youngwood and Linton Mann III will participate in Practising Law Institute’s “Securities Litigation 2021: From Investigation to Trial” virtual program, which will take place on March 29. As event Co-Chair, Jon will moderate several panels including, “Securities Litigation: The Investigation: Coordinating Requests From Government Regulators” and “Securities Litigation: Trial of the Civil Action or Arbitration.” The third discussion Jon will lead is titled, “Prosecuting and Defending the Civil Action: Class Certification, Fact Discovery, Experts and Summary Judgment Motions in Securities Litigation,” which features Linton as a panelist. The program will include leading practitioners who will provide updates on the latest best practices and case law, and will discuss significant issues that can arise in the most complex securities matters—from the initial government investigation to the filing of the civil cases to either settlement or trial.
