Marni Lerner, Elizabeth Cooper and Joe McLaughlin to Speak at the Annual Tulane M&A Conference

Head of the Firm’s Private Equity Mergers and Acquisitions Practice Marni Lerner, Mergers and Acquisitions Partner Elizabeth Cooper and Litigation Partner Joe McLaughlin are participating in the 33rd annual Tulane Corporate Law Institute, which will be held virtually on March 11 – March 12, 2021. The Institute has been called “the equivalent of Davos for the rainmaker crowd” by The New York Times and “the most important gathering of its kind” by Corporate Control Alert. Marni will speak on a panel titled, “COVID-19 and its Impact on Activism and Public Companies,” and Elizabeth will participate in a panel titled, “Hot Topics in M&A Practice.” Joe will participate in the “Ethics and Professionalism” panel, which will discuss current Delaware law issues regarding the representation of corporations and boards of directors. Corporate Partner Eric Swedenburg is also serving as a member of the planning committee for the conference.
