Rajib Chanda Quoted in Fund Directions on New Derivatives Rule

Corporate Partner Rajib Chanda was quoted in a Fund Directions article titled, “Industry welcomes final derivatives rule focus on board oversight.” The article analyzed the new derivatives rule which was recently adopted by the SEC and positions boards to oversee a designated administrator who handles day-to-day derivatives risk management responsibilities. When discussing how the new rule assigns boards appropriate oversight duties while providing a flexible framework for risk management, Rajib noted, “The rule did a good job of making sure that the board was involved at the right level, as opposed to getting very technical.”
