Simpson Thacher was recognized at the Asian Legal Business Japan Law Awards 2020 for representing SoftBank in its $30 billion transaction involving Z Holdings Corporation—the parent company of Yahoo! Japan—and its business integration with LINE Corporation. The significant merger was named “M&A Deal of the Year: Premium” and “Technology, Media and Telecommunications Deal of the Year.”
