Stephen Blake Quoted in The Deal on Latest Delaware Appraisal Decision

Litigation Partner Stephen Blake was quoted in an article published by The Deal titled, “Delaware's Distaste for Appraisals Continues Under Seitz.” The article reviews the latest decision by the Delaware Supreme Court to address appraisal petitions, and the first such decision issued by the Court’s new Chief Justice, the Honorable Collins “C.J.” Seitz, Jr. Stephen noted that the opinion by Chief Justice Seitz concerning the appraisal petition stemming from the sale of Jarden Corp. is consistent with the Supreme Court’s previous decision involving the sale of Dell, Inc., in saying that “[t]he Chancery Court should look to market inputs before trying to untangle the battle of the spreadsheets.”
