On June 3, 2020, Intellectual Property/Privacy Partner Lori Lesser and Counsel Christopher Sprigman and Exempt Organizations Counsel Maura Whelan conducted a webinar for more than 600 individual artists and arts organizations on the legal issues and risks related to online activities and performances during the COVID-19 pandemic. The webinar was titled, “Moving Your Content into the Digital World: Legal Guide for Individual Artists and Arts Organizations,” and was co-sponsored by the New York State Council on the Arts and Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts.
