Art Robinson and Marisa Stavenas Quoted in Law360 on Liability Management Transactions

Art Robinson, Global Head of the Firm’s Capital Markets Practice, and Corporate Partner Marisa Stavenas were quoted in a Law360 article titled, “Liability Management Transactions Accelerate Amid Pandemic,” which detailed the uptick in transactions used by companies to reduce balance sheet pressures. In discussing the benefits of debt exchange offers in particular, Art noted that this type of deal “gives the company an ability to focus more on its core mission, to get, or stay, financially healthy.” Marisa noted that she expects the robust pace of liability management transactions to continue, saying “[a]s the range of types and circumstances in which liability management transactions are used is quite broad, I do think we'll continue to see a large number of these deals and that the types and structures will continue to expand."
