Corporate Partner Steven Klar was named to Private Equity International’s “Future 40” list, which recognizes rising stars within the private equity industry. The feature highlighted Steven’s work advising some of the largest and most well-known private fund sponsors, including Blackstone, Centerbridge, EQT and Lexington Partners, not only on their fundraisings, but also on the fund-related aspects of their M&A deals. Specifically the profile noted his role advising Blackstone on the establishment of Blackstone Capital Partners VIII, which raised approximately $26 billion, as well as advising the sponsor on fund-related aspects of its acquisition of a majority stake in MagicLab.
