Simpson Thacher represented Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC, as underwriter, in connection with a secondary offering by Wengen Alberta, Limited Partnership (“Wengen”) of 15,000,000 shares of Class A common stock of Laureate Education, Inc. (“Laureate”). The offering raised approximately $250.8 million in gross proceeds for Wengen.
Laureate is the largest international network of degree-granting higher education institutions, primarily focused in Latin America, with more than 900,000 students enrolled at 38 institutions with more than 150 campuses.
