Simpson Thacher represented YPF Energía Eléctrica S.A. (“YPF Luz”) in connection with its inaugural high yield notes offering consisting of US$400 million aggregate principal amount of 10% Senior Notes due 2026, in reliance on Rule 144A and Regulation S.
YPF Luz is engaged in the development and generation of electrical power from both conventional and renewable sources in Argentina. YPF Luz is 75.1% owned by YPF S.A., Argentina’s largest energy company with fully integrated oil and gas operations, maintaining leading market positions in both upstream and downstream segments.
