Litigation Senior Counsel Mick Tuesley will speak on a panel titled “Committee on Foreign Investments in the United States (CFIUS): Changes and Forecasts” at the American Bar Association’s 13th Annual Homeland Security Law Institute on May 31 in Arlington, VA. Mick’s panel will discuss the Committee’s role in balancing the United States’ policy of open investment with realities of evolving national securities threats and will highlight topics such as The Foreign Investment Risk Review Modernization Act of 2018, emerging technology, protecting privately-owned critical infrastructure from foreign investment risks, risk mitigation agreements and ongoing compliance issues, among others.
