Litigation Partner Linton Mann III participated on a Practising Law Institute panel titled “Pro Bono Basics 2019: Best Practices and Ethics” on April 11 in New York. The panel discussed the tools for working effectively with low-income clients; how to balance other work obligations with pro bono representation; strategies for securing adequate training and mentorship for unfamiliar areas of law and venues; strategies for obtaining pro bono opportunities for in-house, transactional and litigation attorneys; and ethical issues in pro bono representation. Linton provided his perspective on handling pro bono matters in a large law firm.
