Simpson Thacher Represents Underwriters in $1.65 Billion Debt Offering by Philip Morris International

The Firm represented Citigroup Global Markets Inc., Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC, HSBC Securities (USA) Inc., Mizuho Securities USA LLC, BBVA Securities Inc., J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, SMBC Nikko Securities America, Inc. and SG Americas Securities, LLC, Inc. as joint bookrunning managers, in connection with a registered public offering by Philip Morris International Inc. of $1.65 billion of its Notes, consistent of $900 million of its 2.875% Notes due 2024 and $750 million of its 3.375% Notes due 2029. The offering closed on May 1, 2019.

PMI is a leading international tobacco company engaged in the manufacture and sale of cigarettes, smoke-free products and associated electronic devices and accessories, and other nicotine-containing products in markets outside the U.S.
