Corporate Partners Peter Gilman and Olga Gutman spoke on two separate panels at the International Bar Association’s 20th Annual International Conference on Private Investment Funds on March 11 in London. Peter spoke at a workshop titled “Minority Investments in Fund Managers/Minority Stake Funds/M&A.” This session addressed how, as fund managers’ strategies diversify, a number of key trends have evolved such as the establishment of funds to take minority stakes and managers selling minority stakes to assist with generational change. Olga moderated a workshop titled “Key Trends – Hedge Funds/Open-Ended Funds,” which focused on key terms in an evolving hedge fund market, including the challenging landscape in fund raising.
