Simpson Thacher was recognized in the “Best China Deal” and “Best Financing (Early Stage to Pre-IPO)” categories of FinanceAsia’s 2018 Achievement Awards for its representation of Ant Small and Financial Services Group (“Ant Financial”) in its Series C equity financing totaling approximately US$14 billion.
The Firm was also awarded “Best Taiwan Deal” for its representation of Siliconware Precision Industrial Limited in connection with its acquisition of Advanced Semiconductor Engineering for 184.32 billion New Taiwan dollars (approximately US$5.7 billion).
