Simpson Thacher represented SnapAV in its acquisition of Volutone, LLC (d/b/a Volutone Distributing Co.). The financial terms of the transaction were not announced.
Volutone is the leading regional audio/visual, home and commercial technology distributor in the United States, with seven distribution centers in Southern California and Las Vegas. SnapAV is a manufacturer and exclusive source of audio/visual, CCTV and networking products for professional integrators.
