Simpson Thacher Hosts Students from the Marble Hill School as Part of the Firm’s Urban Education Initiative

On November 15, Simpson Thacher hosted over 30 students and faculty from the Marble Hill School for International Studies. The visit was part of the Firm’s Urban Education Initiative, and provided students with a full-day overview of the practice of law and “hands-on” experience in the form of a moot court competition. Twenty seven people from Simpson Thacher participated to help make the full-day curriculum a success.
The event was coordinated by Kristin Glaudel, who serves as the Firm’s Urban Education Coordinator, and introductory remarks regarding the Firm, its practice areas and its long-standing commitment to public service were given by Partner Pete Gilman and Associate Audra Cohen, members of the Firm’s private funds group.
