Simpson Thacher Represents the Underwriters in $1.1 Billion Debt Offering by Charles Schwab

The Firm represented the underwriters, led by Citigroup Global Markets Inc., Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC, J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith Incorporated and Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC as joint bookrunning managers, in connection with a public offering of $1.1 billion aggregate principal amount of debt securities of The Charles Schwab Corporation, consisting of $500 million aggregate principal amount of 3.55% Senior Notes due 2024 and $600 million aggregate principal amount of 4% Senior Notes due 2029. The offering closed on October 31, 2018.

The Charles Schwab Corporation is headquartered in San Francisco and, through its operating subsidiaries, provides a full range of wealth management, securities brokerage, banking, money management, custody and financial advisory services to individual investors and independent investment advisors.
