The Firm represented Ganfeng Lithium Co., Ltd. (“Ganfeng Lithium”) in connection with its initial public offering in Hong Kong and Rule 144A/Regulation S offering of 200,185,800 H shares (prior to the exercise of the overallotment option). The total offering size was HK$3.3 billion (approximately US$423.5 million). The H shares of Ganfeng Lithium are listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Citi acted as the sole sponsor. Citi, CICC and Deutsche Bank acted as joint coordinators, joint bookrunners and joint lead managers.
Ganfeng Lithium is the largest lithium compounds producer in China and the third largest in the world. It is also the world’s largest lithium metals producer in terms of production capacity as of December 31, 2017. With more than 40 lithium compounds and metals products in five major categories, Ganfeng Lithium is also one of the most comprehensive lithium compounds and metals suppliers in the world.
