Simpson Thacher recently won in the categories of Private Equity Team of the Year, Private Equity Deal of the Year and Real Estate Deal of the Year at the China Law & Practice Awards 2018. The Firm was named Private Equity Team of the Year for International Firms for its representation on some of the largest private equity deals of 2018. Simpson Thacher was also awarded Private Equity Deal of the Year for its representation of Ant Financial in connection with its $14 billion series C equity financing and won Real Estate Deal of the Year for its representation of Blackstone in its sale of its pan-European logistics company, Logicor, to China Investment Corporation (CIC) for €12.25 billion.
