Simpson Thacher represented the underwriters, led by BofA Merrill Lynch, Credit Suisse and J.P. Morgan, in connection with the registered public offering by Apache Corporation of $1 billion aggregate principal amount of 4.375% notes due 2028. Apache (NYSE: APA) will use the proceeds from the offering to fund its waterfall cash tender offer to purchase a portion of several series of its outstanding senior notes and for general corporate purposes. The Firm also represented BofA Merrill Lynch, Credit Suisse and J.P. Morgan as dealer managers in connection with the tender offer.
