The Women in Law Empowerment Forum (WILEF) recently awarded Simpson Thacher its Gold Standard Certification for the seventh time. WILEF’s Gold Standard Certification recognizes law firms with 300 or more lawyers in the United States that meet certain objective criteria, such as the number of women in leadership positions and in the ranks of a firm’s most highly compensated partners. Simpson was among only 17 law firms to have received the highly competitive certification for at least seven years, and was one of 42 law firms to receive the certification this year.
