Simpson Thacher is representing SK Holdings in connection with its announced agreement to acquire AMPAC Fine Chemicals (“AFC”), a leading contract development and manufacturing organization (“CDMO”). Financial terms of the transaction, which is subject to regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions, were not disclosed.
SK Holdings is part of Korea’s SK Group. AFC is a leading global provider of high quality API development and manufacturing solutions to the pharmaceutical industry, supplying high value-added APIs and intermediates in disease areas such as cancer, CNS, cardiovascular and anti-viral.
