Simpson Thacher is representing J.P. Morgan Securities LLC as financial advisor to Web.com Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: WEB) in connection with its announced merger with an affiliate of Siris Capital Group, LLC (“Siris Capital”), pursuant to which such affiliate of Siris Capital will acquire all of the outstanding shares of Web.com’s common stock at $25 per share in cash. The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2018, subject to regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions.
