The Firm won “Private Equity Deal of the Year” for its representation of Evercore as financial advisor to Humana in connection with Humana’s announced acquisition of a 40% interest in Kindred Healthcare’s home division for approximately $800 million at The Deal Awards 2018. The “Private Equity Deal of the Year” award recognizes the most exemplary transaction involving a private firm as either the main investor, buyer or seller.
Corporate Partner Elizabeth Cooper was also recognized as “Private Equity Lawyer of the Year.” This honor recognizes leaders who demonstrate deep expertise in a particular sector.
The winners were announced at a celebratory event in New York City on June 21.
