In partnership with Columbia Business School, the Firm announced the launch of STBReady, an eight-day training program designed to prepare incoming associates to do more sophisticated legal work, more efficiently, earlier in their careers. Using actual transactions and disputes as case studies, STBReady will provide incoming associates with business and financial literacy training, led by CBS faculty and supplemented by Simpson Thacher partners; experiential practice-specific sessions; deep industry knowledge, led by Simpson Thacher partners and key Firm clients; and sessions focused on teamwork, efficiency, knowledge sharing, technology utilization and other Simpson Thacher core values.
