Partner Keith Noreika recently participated in Practising Law Institute’s 23rd Annual Consumer Financial Services Institute program. On March 26 in New York City and May 7 in Chicago, Keith spoke on a panel titled “Federal Regulators Speak: Priorities & Coordination,” which focused on regulatory compliance for new products and platforms, fair lending issues, fraud, privacy and cybersecurity, among other things. On May 8 in Chicago, Keith participated in a presentation titled “The Rapidly Changing Landscape for Marketplace Lending and FinTech,” which addressed the status of the OCC’s proposed FinTech charter, including litigation challenging the charter and bank partnership issues, along with other related topics.
