Simpson Thacher is representing KGS-Alpha Capital Markets in connection with its proposed sale to BMO Financial Group (NYSE: BMO). The transaction, which is subject to regulatory approvals and other customary conditions, is currently expected to close in BMO's fourth fiscal quarter. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
KGS is a New York-based institutional fixed income broker-dealer that specializes in the structuring, trading and distribution of mortgage-backed securities and asset-backed securities.
