Simpson Thacher Represents the Underwriters in $1.5 Billion Debt Offering by The Charles Schwab Corporation

The Firm represented the underwriters, led by Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC, Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC, Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith Incorporated and Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC as joint bookrunning managers, in connection with a public offering of $1.5 billion aggregate principal amount of debt securities of The Charles Schwab Corporation, consisting of $800 million aggregate principal amount of 2.65% Senior Notes due 2023 and $700 million aggregate principal amount of 3.2% Senior Notes due 2028. The offering closed on December 7, 2017.

The Charles Schwab Corporation is headquartered in San Francisco and, through its operating subsidiaries, provides a full range of wealth management, securities brokerage, banking, money management, custody and financial advisory services to individual investors and independent investment advisors.
