Simpson Thacher will be one of five firms honored by the Cyrus R. Vance Center for International Justice at the second annual Celebration of International Pro Bono Excellence. The Firm is recognized for efforts to protect the communal property of indigenous and Afro-descendant communities living on the Atlantic Coast of Nicaragua on behalf of El Centro por la Justicia y Derechos Humanos de la Costa Atlántica de Nicaragua (The Center for Justice and Human Rights of the Atlantic Coast of Nicaragua). The event will take place on October 26 at the New York Bar Association in New York, NY. The Simpson Thacher team includes Partner Todd Crider and Associate Deborah El-Schaeddhaei.
