Blackstone Acquires Hansteen Portfolio

Simpson Thacher is representing Blackstone Real Estate in connection with its acquisition of a portfolio of 180 mixed-use industrial and logistics properties from Hansteen PLC in a transaction valued at approximately €1.275 billion. Blackstone will acquire the portfolio in a joint venture with M7. The properties are located in Germany and the Netherlands. The transaction is scheduled to close in June 2017.
