Simpson Thacher received the “Tax Team of the Year” Award at the 2017 Chambers USA Awards. The award recognizes the Firm’s “top tier” Tax team and reflects its notable achievements in the field over the past 12 months. Chambers commends the “widely admired” team of tax attorneys who have “handled some of the year's most impressive mandates with considerable aplomb.”

In addition, the Firm won the “Finance Team of the Year” Award and was a finalist for awards in Real Estate and Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation.

The award was conferred by Chambers & Partners at its annual U.S. awards ceremony held on May 25, 2017 in New York City. The winning law firms are selected based on research conducted for the annual Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business legal directory, in which many of Simpson Thacher’s attorneys and practice areas receive top-tier rankings.
