The Firm is representing KKR in connection with its investment in Beijing Capital Juda Limited (“Capital Juda”), a leading retail outlets developer and operator in China (HKEx: 1329). Sino-Ocean Group Holding Limited (HKEx: 3377) (“Sino-Ocean”), a leading Chinese property developer, will be making an investment in Capital Juda alongside KKR. Subject to customary closing conditions, including approvals by Capital Juda’s shareholders, Capital Juda will issue a combination of new ordinary shares and perpetual convertible bond securities to KKR and Sino-Ocean for a total consideration of HKD1,477 million.

Capital Juda is a Hong Kong-listed subsidiary of Beijing Capital Land Ltd. (HKEx: 2868) ("BCL"), a leading Chinese real estate developer listed in Hong Kong and controlled by Beijing Capital Group. Capital Juda leverages on BCL's experience and network in real estate development in China as well as its own expertise in commercial development and operations to focus on integrated outlets projects across China.
