Litigation Partners Jeff Ostrow and Buzz Frahn led the plenary ethics session at the Silicon Valley Association of General Counsel (SVAGC) All Hands Meeting, which brought together 600 CLOs, GCs and their legal teams from more than 210 technology and life sciences companies who convened on November 16 and 17 at the Santa Clara Convention Center. They were joined on the “Legal Ethics for Valley In-House Counsel” panel by clients Jonathan Gentin of Proofpoint and William Barthell of Symantec, for a highly interactive session that included feedback from attendees using an audience response system. On the evening prior to the conference, a select group of Simpson Thacher clients, alumni and colleagues joined Jeff, Buzz and other Palo Alto partners and counsel for a pre-All Hands Meeting dinner and discussion.
