Litigation Partner Craig Waldman was profiled by Law360 as a “Rising Star” in securities for 2016. Craig was honored for, among other things, a significant decision tossing shareholder claims over a $6 billion acquisition by The Blackstone Group LP. The publication also highlighted Craig’s work on a number of cases stemming from the subprime mortgage crisis including his representation of The Royal Bank of Scotland PLC in actions brought by the Federal Housing Finance Agency on behalf of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac over purported misrepresentation in mortgage-backed securities offerings.
