The Firm represented JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A., as lead arranger and administrative agent, in connection with a $1.9 billion term loan facility for Weyerhaeuser Company. Proceeds will be used to provide the company with financing for general corporate purposes.
Weyerhaeuser is one of the world’s largest private owners of timberlands and one of the largest manufacturers of wood and cellulose fibers products. The company owns or controls more than 13 million acres of timberlands, primarily in the U.S., and manages additional timberlands under long-term licenses in Canada.
