Robert E. Spatt and Peter C. Thomas to Speak at the Annual Tulane M&A Conference

03.15.16

The twenty-eighth annual Tulane Corporate Law Institute will be held March 17 – March 18, 2016 in New Orleans. The Institute has been called “the equivalent of Davos for the rainmaker crowd” by The New York Times and “the most important gathering of its kind” by Corporate Control Alert. (Click here to view the Tulane website and agenda.) Rob is the Co-Chairman Emeritus of the Institute and will co-moderate the panel, “Addressing Regulatory Execution Risk in M&A Transactions.” Peter will also be a speaker on that panel and will discuss CFIUS-related issues.

In connection with the Institute, Rob has updated his annual articles on social issues and use of stock and cash in M&A transactions. A downloadable version of “Social Issues in Selected Recent Mergers and Acquisitions Transactions (March 2016)” is available here and a downloadable version of “Selected Legal Issues Relating to the Selection and Implementation of Differing Forms of Consideration in M&A Transactions (March 2016)” is available here. The twentieth annual version of Rob’s oft-cited article on deal jumping, “The Four Ring Circus” is available here.
