Litigation Partner Cheryl Scarboro will speak at the 30th Annual American Bar Association’s National Institute on White Collar Crime on March 4. Cheryl will be speaking on a panel titled “Ethical Pitfalls in Conducting Internal Investigations and Prosecuting and Defending White Collar Cases.” The panel will discuss ethical concerns in conducting and defending investigations and prosecutions of white collar cases including how to interview employees; concerns about multiple representations; emerging issues in whistleblower case law regarding “no contact” provisions in employment agreements; and ethical quandaries in international investigations. The conference will be held at the San Diego Marriott Marquis and Marina on March 2-4.
