Simpson Thacher Represents Lead Arrangers in Financing of Avago’s $37 Billion Acquisition of Broadcom Corporation

Simpson Thacher represented Bank of America, N.A., Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC, Deutsche Bank Securities Inc., Barclays Bank PLC, Citigroup Global Markets Inc. and Wells Fargo Securities, LLC, as lead arrangers with respect to approximately $16 billion of new credit facilities for Avago, to finance a portion of its $37 billion acquisition of Broadcom Corporation.

Avago's product portfolio is extensive and includes thousands of products in four primary target markets: wireless communications, enterprise storage, wired infrastructure and industrial and other.
