Exempt Organizations Partner David Shevlin and Counsel Jennifer Reynoso will speak at the University of Texas 2016 Nonprofit Organizations Institute on January 14. David will speak on the panel “Shifting Tides in the Exempt Organizations Sector,” which will examine current challenges and pressures in the exempt organizations sector. Jennifer’s panel, “Gift Agreements and Gift Restrictions,” will discuss what to consider when you are offered a gift, what to consider offering in return and what you should address in a gift acceptance policy, and will provide tips for drafting gift agreements.
