Simpson Thacher is representing Advent International and its affiliates in connection with the contemplated sale to VINCI Airports S.A.S., of Aeropuertos Dominicanos Siglo XXI (“Aerodom”). Aerodom operates six airports in the Dominican Republic pursuant to a concession agreement with the government of the Dominican Republic. VINCI Airports S.A.S., a subsidiary of VINCI Group (a French group), manages 25 airports worldwide. Completion of the transaction is subject to satisfaction of certain conditions and is expected to occur by the end of the first quarter of 2016.
The Firm has represented Aerodom since 1999 when we assisted with the negotiation of the concession agreement and in multiple subsequent loan financings, through 2008 when we represented the controlling shareholders in the sale to Advent. In 2012, we represented Aerodom in its inaugural high yield bond offering, the proceeds of which were used to repay debt and to pay a dividend.
