Simpson Thacher represented The Blackstone Group L.P. (“Blackstone”) in the establishment of its eighth global opportunistic real estate fund, Blackstone Real Estate Partners VIII L.P. (“BREP VIII”). Blackstone has announced that BREP VIII raised approximately $15.8 billion of total commitments.
