The Firm represented the Republic of Peru in connection with the issuance and sale of US$1,250 million 4.125% U.S. Dollar-Denominated Global Bonds due 2027 in an SEC-registered offering underwritten by Citigroup Global Markets Inc. and J.P. Morgan Securities LLC.
The transaction was approved by the government of the Republic of Peru and managed by the Ministry of Economy. This transaction was the first bond offering undertaken by the Republic of Peru utilizing the “collective action clauses” recently recommended by the International Monetary Fund.
