Simpson Thacher Successfully Represents Holcim in Obtaining FTC Clearance of Merger With Lafarge

Simpson Thacher represented Holcim Ltd., in connection with the U.S. antitrust review of its completed merger with Lafarge S.A. The Firm successfully guided Holcim through a lengthy and complex second request investigation by the FTC, which resulted in clearance of the transaction by the FTC following agreement to divest assets in limited markets.
