Simpson Thacher Acted as Sole International Counsel in US$300 Million Notes Offering by Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power

The Firm acted as sole international counsel in connection with the update of the US$5 billion global medium term note program and the offering of US$300 million 3.25% Notes due 2025 by Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Co., Ltd. The offering was conducted in reliance upon Rule 144A and Regulation S under the U.S. Securities Act of 1933, as amended. 

Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power is one of six wholly owned electricity generation subsidiaries of Korea Electric Power Corporation, a government-controlled electricity company in Korea. BNP Paribas, acting through its Hong Kong branch, Citigroup Global Markets Inc., Goldman Sachs International and The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited were joint lead managers for the offering.
