Simpson Thacher Represents J.P. Morgan and Morgan Stanley in Ps.6 Billion (US$385 million) IPO of Mexican Real Estate Company

Simpson Thacher represented J.P. Morgan Securities LLC and Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC., as initial purchasers, in connection with the initial public offering of common shares of Grupo Gicsa, S.A.B. de C.V. (“GICSA”) and listing on the Mexican Stock Exchange. The offering was made to qualified institutional buyers in the United States in reliance on Rule 144A and outside the United States to non-U.S. persons in reliance on Regulation S under the Securities Act. The transaction raised approximately Ps.6 billion (US$385 million) in gross proceeds.

GICSA is a leading developer, investor and operator of premium shopping centers, corporate office buildings and mixed-used facilities in Mexico.
