Litigation Partner Bill Russell was quoted in the New York Law Journal regarding the resolution of the dispute between the New York State Bar Association and the Office of Court Administration concerning mandatory pro bono reporting. Bill co-chaired a State Bar subcommittee that examined the mandatory reporting rule and recommended modifications that formed the basis for a negotiated resolution of the Bar Association’s opposition to the rule. He was subsequently appointed by State Bar President Glenn Lau-Kee and Chief Judge Jonathan Lippman to a six person committee charged with overseeing the implementation of the rule.
