The twenty-seventh annual Tulane Corporate Law Institute will be held March 19 – March 20, 2015 in New Orleans. The Institute has been called “the equivalent of Davos for the rainmaker crowd” by The New York Times and “the most important gathering of its kind” by Corporate Control Alert. (Click here to view the Tulane website and agenda.) Rob is the Co-Chairman Emeritus of the Institute and will speak on the panel, “Current Trends in M&A in 2015.” Chief Justice Leo E. Strine, Jr. of the Delaware Supreme Court will also be speaking on the panel. In addition, Rob has once again updated for the Institute the oft-cited article on deal jumping, “The Four Ring Circus-Round Nineteen – A Further Updated View of the Mating Dance Among Announced Merger Partners and an Unsolicited Second or Third Bidder (March 2015).”
A downloadable version of this article can be found on the Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP website along with a marked version showing changes from the prior “Round Eighteen” of this article to facilitate the identification of updated data.
